Edwin card
Hello there! I made this card for my nephew who had to have 4 teeth pulled Friday. He is getting ready to have braces put on. What a trooper he is! He definitely is a lot braver than me. I get all nervous just when I get my teeth cleaned. Anyway, I went through all my paper scraps and pulled out this paper for the card. I used copic markers to color edwin. I created a tag, and attached it to the inside of the folded card. I am inserting money for my nephew in the tag. No, not just a dollar either, lol!! Anyway, hope you enjoy! :0)

My first crisscross card
Well, I decided I would tempt my first crisscross card. I had a blast making this card. Kind of plain and simple, but delicate. I really didn't want to put a lot of embellishments as I really love the paper, and didn't want to cover it up much. I am ready to sit down and do some more of these cards! Hope you enjoy, have a great day!

Magnolia Image
Well, 2 cards in one day! Who could ask for anything more, LOL!! Now it's time to sit back, relax and enjoy the remainder of the evening (which is not much left as I need to go to bed). I saw this type of card on DYI Scrapbooking TV show, and thought Oh my, what a cute idea! and easy! Except, I had some serious problems with the paper bubbling up on me. O'well, you win some, you loose some, haha! I love the dangly embelishments, though I have to say. I colored sweet Tilda with chalk this time. Took a break from the ole copic's. Anyway, off to bed. Have a super evening! Or day, which ever it may be.
Anya Inc Challenge
Ok, so this is my first entry for the Anya Ink Challenge. I wanted to do something different. This card was definitely out of my comfort zone! But I wanted to spice it up so this is what came of it. I used Copic Markers for my coloring. The black hair is a bit tricky for me for some reason, but practice makes perfect, right? I guess that means I must make more cards to get all the practice in! Love that idea! :0) Anyway, hope you all enjoy! HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY! Thank you for any comments. they are appreciated!

Birthday Card
We are going to a surprise birthday party for our neighbor tonight. So I thought I would whip up a card for her birthday. I actually had a lot of fun making this card. It surpisingly went fast too. Usually it takes me a while to make a card, so I was quite happy, haha! I used different types of paper, and inked the edges of the cream colored cardstock. I love this stamp. I think she is just too darn cute. So far I have 4 of these stamps, and am looking forward to getting some more.
challenge I never submitted
I tried to make this card for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge, and changed my mind. The camera I am using just didn't seem to do the paper justice. I really LOVE this paper. I actually bought the paper stack (Mirabelle from My Paper Studio) so I could do some pages of my mom and my grandmother. The paper in this stack is absolutely beautiful! But when I was trying to figure out the papers for the challenge, I came accross this pack I bought and thought, oh that would look so pretty. Well, I wasn't really all that happy with the outcome of it unfortunately. I had my friend / co-worker over, and we had a good time chatting why we made cards. I was working on this card. She is a extremely talented card maker. I am trying to convince her to publish some of her cards as they are just SOOOO amazing!! anyway, here is the outcome of the card.

Hands In My Pocket....
I love that song "Hands In My Pocket" by Alanis Morrisette! Great singer! Not that it fits this sweet little stamp, but the song entered my head when I was coloring her. Not sure really why. It's been a while since I have sat down and made a card. Have to say I missed it. I just turned up my music and sang along to the tunes and before I new it....I created this card. Hope you enjoy! :0)

Swiss Pixie Miss Rosalie
Different kind of card....
I wanted to try something different by doing a card I never done before. This card was more for just playing around. Before I knew it...a card was born, lol!
I wanted something on the flap, but just couldn't quite put it together. So I dug around my spellbinders, and came up with the scalloped circle. I then came across my embossing Cuddlebug flower border and ran it through on the flap of the card. I actually had some Velcro and placed it under the flap to hold the flap closed. Anyway, it was just a play around card, but was fun to make. Thanks for stopping by and Have a good one! ;0)

Magnolia Down Under challenge 41
The theme this week is olden days using black, white, and grey's. I have to admit, this one was very challenging for me. I tried colored several Tilda's, and have to say, I struggled. I started with Copics, then went to chalks, then went back with Copics. But I kept at it, and think I have it.

In Loving Memory of My Mother
My mother, Sylvia I Musso, passed away 4 yrs ago, March of 2006. I love and miss her dearly! She was not only our mom, she was our friend. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her. I thank the good Lord above every chance I get that he gave me such wonderful loving parents. My dad passed away 24 yrs ago when I was 14 yrs from cancer. He battled the horrible disease a couple years before passing. I know in my heart, that God is taking good care of my parents, and that they are smiling down on us. My mom passed away during heart surgery. she was to have a valve replacement...a common surgery. Little did they know that her valves were smaller then the realized and the valve they had wouldn't work. So they had to resort to a different one. One complication led to another. A 2 to 4 hr surgery ended up being over 8 hours! Longest day of our lives as we were waiting. she did not survive the surgery. One of the many things that reminds me of mom is butterflies. She loved butterflies. my mom was a special woman. Always had a smile on her face and was so kind to everyone! She is truly loved and missed. I did these pages in memory of her. Love you mom!

My son's birthday card
Hello! Today my son turned 17 yrs old! Wow, where did the time go??? It was only yesterday when I was kissing his owies, and tucking him in bed at night. My snuggly little boy is all grown up! :-( Make me sad! I made this birthday card for him and this was my first try at this kind of card. It was fun to make, and pretty fast really! Hope you enjoy, and have a wonderful day! Thank you for any comments! :0)

Magnolia Down Under challenge 40
Hello all! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great Easter. We had a nice quite day, which was great! My hubby actually cooked the dinner (my family prefers it that way as my cooking..well..lets just say, spaghetti sauce from the jar is my style of cooking ;0)). He fixed a wonderful ham, with garlic mashed potatoes, yams, spinach salad, and a green bean casserole.
Any way, back to cardmaking :0). This is the first time I tried making one of these cards. These are quite fun and different! Hope you enjoy! :-)

Edwin Kissing Tilda
Well it is late Saturday night and just finished a card using my new Edwin and Tilda stamp. I love these 2, they are just so adorable. Sorry it's been a few days since I've done anything. I bought a new paper pack (The Linen Closet Stack) by DCWV. Beautiful paper in that stack. So it inspired me to do a card. I'm starting to feel a little more comfortable with the Copic Markers, but still need practice.
One of my biggest struggles is putting papers together. I welcome any suggestions if anyone would have any. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. May the Easter Bunny treat you well! I'm hoping for lot of chocolate. Oh yeah, life is good! Take care! ;0)

Magnolia Down Under challenge 39
Hello and happy Saturday! I am entering my first Magnolia Challenge, so lets see how it goes. Hope everyone is having a super day. The sun is shining, but still a bit cool here in Colorado, USA. Once the wind stops blowing, it isn't all too bad. I hand stitched this card. I love the jean look and actually cut out a pocket with the paper using a pocket template and stitched the middle of the pocket as well. Hope you enjoy. Thanks for stopping by!

Baking Tilda
I made my 2nd easel card today using one of my new Tilda stamps. I used the paper from the DCWV Glitter Sweet Stack. I broke out my Cricut machine using the Doodlecharm cartridge to make the cupcake. Who ever invented that machine....brilliant! I had run the icing on the cupcake through the Cuddlebug giving it the poke-dot effect, which I had glittered up the dots. I thoroughly enjoyed making this card. Thanks for viewing and have a blessed day!

2nd Day Blog
ok, here is day 2. I wanted to use my new Magnolia Stamp. So I though purple would be pretty to use. Oh my, the struggle I had trying to use paper. Couldn't find papers I had that would go with the color I used on cute little Tilda. So I went out and bought more paper. Like.. I need more paper like I need a whole in the head!! So I got home, and took out the paper that I bought. Lot of times, as I am making a card, at first I struggle with the layout, but then it just clicks. This time...no click. Anyhow, it took me a while to provide this card. I sure love the Tilda though. She is soooo sweet!!

My first blog
Hello everyone! My name is Suzanne, and this is my first time in blogging. Let me start by telling a little bit about myself. I grew up in a small town of Powell, Wyo. Not too far from Yellowstone National Park. After graduating high school, I married my first husband and had 2 wonderful boys, Kyle and Nathan. We were married for about 7 years, but unfortunately had grown apart. A few yrs later, I met my soul mate. We moved from Powell 7 yrs ago to Colorado. We sure love it here.
My sister, who also lives in Colorado, is a scrapbooker. She had introduced me into scrapbooking and got me started. I was pretty slow at it for a while. then a friend of mine learned I was doing a little scrapping, and introduced me into stamping and cardmaking. I have been hooked since. I was surfing the web one day, and ran into the magnolia stamps, and was IN LOVE!! I couldn't get over how adorable they were. I just had to have some. So, I made my first purchase of the stamps. Once I received them, the first thing I did, was went down and started stamping and coloring, then before I new it, I made my first magnolia card.
I found a Magnolia stamp group on Facebook, and have been enjoying all the posts on there. That is where I learned of the Copic Markers. Ok, had to have some. So, I went out and bought some. I now have acquired quite a few in my collection. I'm still however trying to master the blending. Hopefully, one of these day's I will get it down :-)
So that pretty much it in a nutshell for now. Hope you guys enjoy!
